I really like this. You touch on a lot of Zuko's emotions, but I'm glad you focus here on his feelings of triumph and worthiness. Sozin's Comet is powerful, and it would indeed affect Zuko's opinion of himself to be able to wield that power but also doing it on his terms, he controls the power not the other way around and for once he is Azula's equal which is a powerful feeling in and of itself.
