The Promise Part 2

So my copy of The Promise Part 2 arrived a few days ago and I am majorly intrigued by what's happening. Things are setting up for what's sure to be a major showdown in the third part. I know we all know that the issue is resolved by turning the colonies into the United Republic, but I'm really curious as to how they arrive at that solution.

Also, even though I'm a Maikonite, I am very, very proud of what Mai does in this volume. She stands up for herself and tells Zuko that since he isn't treating her as an equal partner in their relationship, she's leaving.

Mai is one of the best parts of this comic. Can I just have a comic of her being awesome and having adventures while acting bored and giving off one liners?
