I remember reading in a fic, though I forget which, that waterbenders were the only benders who had to work with their element, cooperating with it, compromising with it, because water is so powerful. Zuko would do well to realize that water was the element that captured the sister who almost killed him--and then turned right around and healed his wounds. Truly water is nothing to trifle with.
